Easy flight to Istanbul. 4 hours. So a total of 18 hours flying time, plus 3 hours waiting for connection in Abu Dhabi.
Tired, but happy to be here. Small comfortable hotel in good location. An easy 10 minute stroll up the hill to The Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Had a bit of a wander around, a snack and back to the hotel to crash.
Tomorrow the serious business of being a tourist commences.
